01 - Spread 1 tablespoon softened butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
02 - Place two bread slices butter-side down on a clean work surface.
03 - Spread 2 tablespoons pizza sauce on the unbuttered side of each bread slice.
04 - Arrange mozzarella cheese slices, pepperoni, Parmesan, oregano, and basil over the sauce.
05 - Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side facing up.
06 - Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes.
07 - Place sandwiches in skillet and cook 3–4 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
08 - Remove from skillet, let cool for 1 minute, slice diagonally, and serve immediately with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
