# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It takes exactly ten minutes from craving to first bite, which is dangerous knowledge to have.
  • The combination of cold banana, salty peanut butter, and crisp chocolate shell tricks your brain into thinking you are eating something far more indulgent than it actually is.
02 -
  • If your peanut butter is cold from the fridge it will tear the banana slices when you try to spread it, so let it sit out for a few minutes first.
  • Melting chocolate in thirty second bursts in the microwave and stirring between each round prevents the burnt chocolate disaster I have personally experienced more than once.
03 -
  • Keep a damp paper towel nearby while working because chocolate covered fingers will smear onto everything you touch including your phone screen.
  • Double the batch because they disappear faster than you expect and you will wish you had more.
