→ Hibachi Sauce

10 - 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
11 - 1 tbsp sesame oil
12 - 1 tbsp rice vinegar
13 - 1 tbsp honey or sugar
14 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
15 - 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
16 - 1/2 tsp toasted sesame seeds

→ Garnish

17 - 2 green onions, thinly sliced
18 - Extra sesame seeds

# Directions:

01 - Toss chicken pieces with vegetable oil, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl until evenly coated.
02 - Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame seeds in a separate bowl. Mix thoroughly until well incorporated.
03 - Add zucchini, bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, and broccoli to the seasoned chicken. Pour half the hibachi sauce over the mixture and toss to coat evenly.
04 - Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes before cooking.
05 - Place chicken and vegetables in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
06 - Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking. Cook until chicken reaches 165°F internally and vegetables are crisp-tender.
07 - Transfer to a serving platter. Drizzle with remaining hibachi sauce and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately with steamed rice or cauliflower rice.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Restaurant quality hibachi in under 30 minutes without the mess
  • The sauce doubles as a marinade and finishing glaze for maximum flavor
02 -
  • Overcrowding the basket steams the food instead of air frying it
  • The sauce thickens quickly so drizzle it while the food is still hot
03 -
  • Marinate the chicken in half the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking for deeper flavor
  • Let the air fryer fully preheat or you will miss those gorgeous charred edges
